Competition Terms and Conditions

The Iraq Ministry of Health has been working with the BMJ Publishing Group Ltd (‘BMJ Group’) to bringall Doctors in Iraqan exciting opportunity to win a trip to the 17th International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare in Paris, France on 17-20 April 2012.

Competition rules:

  1. Register for your own account at www.learning.bmj.com/iraq
  2. Complete 125 modules successfully on BMJ Learning – please note you can only include 20 Read Reflect and Respond Modules in this number
  3. Submit an approximately 200 word article, in English, describing how BMJ Learning has helped you.

    Modules must be completed between the 18th July 2011 and the 31st December 2011 – existing modules before this time will not be counted.

    Each participant must complete each module successfully and in good faith. Entries will be checked for suspicious behaviour and if modules are completed in an implausible timescale we reserve the right to disregard the completion of that module or disqualify the participant from the competition.

    Participants MUST register for their own account in order to log their entries in the BMJ Portfolio and present a report of modules completed

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Entry to the competition is open to any registered doctor or medical student residing in Iraq who registers to use the BMJ Learning Website. Those involved in the promotion of the competition, employees of the BMJ Group and their relatives are not eligible to enter.
  2. By submitting your entry to this competition you indicate your acceptance of these terms and conditions and the rules detailed.
  3. Only one entry per person shall be permitted, duplicate entries shall be disregarded.
  4. There is no cash alternative to the prizes offered.
  5. The winner shall be the person who submits the best article and will be selected by the Editor of the BMJ from of the eligible entries by 31st December 2011. The winner shall be publicised on the BMJ Learning website and the winner will be notified by email.
  6. This competition is being promoted by the BMJ Publishing Group Ltd of BMA House, Tavistock Square, London WC1H 9JP.
  7. We reserve the right to publicise the winners’ names, grades and place of work; and by entering into this competition you grant your irrevocable consent to such publicity.
  8. All entries, and modules taken, and the written article must be completed and sent to learning.Iraq@bmjgroup.com by the 31st December 2011. Any entries after this date will not be included.
  9. This competition is subject to English Law and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction
