This new role will be primarily focused on BP support for the Capes deal, with a secondary focus on developing other new accounts in the Brazilian market. A key purpose of the role will be to act as an onsite focal point for the account, between the Customer and the Clinical evidence Team. – escalating issues on their behalf, working to identify localisation and translation requirements

This role is responsible for building relationships with key customers during the pre and post sale stages of an institutional sale, in order to facilitate the implementation and usage by an institution to ensure  good opportunities  to close a sale or renew a subscription.  The role holder will look to develop relationships within the institution during the subscription period by providing training, ongoing customer support and communication to end-users. 

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Portuguese  and English are essential
  • Degree level Education or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience of providing technical liaison and support 
  •  Highly developed communication and organisational skills.
  • Clear understanding of ways to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ability to present confidently to both individuals and large groups of  people
  • Clear understanding of the typical sales process and issues sales managers face and the ability to collect and note commercial questions to hand to the sales teams for follow up.
  • Experience of  working with potential customers early in their adoption process and facilitating usage within their organisation
  • Creative thinking in terms of ideas to raise awareness about trials and subscriptions
  • Proven track record of designing, planning and implementing customer training sessions, videos and events for online products within the publishing industry
  •  Track record of organizing and running customer events, which may include workshops, product updates etc.
  • An ability to thoroughly understand quite complex products and to be able to explain how they are different and better than competitor offerings
