Clinical Implementation Specialist- Middle East

15 month fixed term contract

Based in the Middle East

 

This new role forms part of the Action Sets Strategy and has come about due to growth opportunities in the Middle East market. This position will lead implementation activities for the BMJ Evidence Centre product suite in the Middle East and will maintain relationships with customers for post-implementations support and issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

  • To oversee implementations of BMJ’s decision support products as per devised implementation methodology and industry best practice
  •  Develop relationships with key stakeholders and implement effective engagements plans
  • Develop flexible and customised implementation plans within the BMJ’s framework
  • Manage multiple implementations as per industry best practices
  • Provide support, guidance and advise to clients on the implementation
  • Work independently with confidence with third party vendors and client project teams
  • Proactively identify risk, communicate and seek the most appropriate avenue for resolution
  • Gain buy in of clinical stakeholders to enable business change
  • Provide regular updated and reports on the status of implementations
  • Education and training of local implementation representatives
  • Provide training for implementation tool kit and web resources to local implementation teams
  • Provide immediate post live input and support benefits realisation activities
  • Generate positive feedback from implementation and provide materials for client case studies

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • A medical, nursing, pharmacy or other Health Sciences degree and post graduate clinical experience are necessary
  • Ability to engage senior clinicians and communicate principles of EBM and EBM products
  • Health IT system and Health systems content implementation experience is essential, as is experience in personnel and project management
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential, as is experience of using word processing software
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail and strong scientific and analytic skills, the ability to apply evidence based concepts to real situations is essential
