This senior role involves providing clinical insight and expertise in all aspects of engaging our global customer base in the delivery of innovative knowledge products and services.
Minimum educational requirement: a degree in medicine, though post graduate qualification would be preferred.
In addition to an established reputation for publishing high quality medical journals such as the BMJ we also provide a range of evidence based clinical decision support tools and learning services. We, consequently, have a broad range of coherent and integrated services and capabilities with the aim of improving healthcare outcomes.
You will help support the rapid growth of BMJ Group’s initiatives in India. Being an advocate for the Group you will champion the benefits that clinical knowledge and technology can bring to the practice of medicine. You will be abreast of the changes and likely developments within healthcare markets, including the Indian health system but also internationally and effectively communicate these opportunities to the relevant BMJ Group businesses.
Developing an in depth knowledge of the solutions we have on offer you will understand how these might be adapted to solve the needs of clinicians and managers within government, health systems, hospitals and consortiums as well as front line clinicians. Drawing on your clinical domain expertise, you will also contribute to strategic and tactical marketing plans. Prospecting, identifying and leading the engagement effort with key decision makers you will also participate in and support the development of new products and solution to meet market needs. This will involve listening to and understanding the problems and challenges faced by those working to improve the quality of healthcare.
In addition to a solid medical background, we’re looking for a confident, credible presenter with a genuine interest in transforming healthcare. Commercial awareness, an insight into this sector and strong relationship-building and follow-through skills are a must. If you have experience in the use of our product range it would be regarded as a significant advantage. Strong presentation and negotiation skills plus a pragmatic and innovative approach will be important, as will the strategic thinking to identify opportunities and create services and solutions that meet customer needs. We will encourage you to maintain a part time clinical commitment to ensure that our services remain relevant and incisive.
