The post holder will be a core member of a new Marketing Data team based in the central marketing function. This team will have responsibility for effective analysis, management and utilisation of the BMJ Group’s data.
Working with the Marketing Data and Reporting Manager and in conjunction with other members of the Marketing Data team, the post holder will be responsible for delivering proactive and requested analyses that will drive marketing and commercial activity across the Group.
The role is central to developing an improved understanding of our customers and to introducing a data led approach to the marketing of our services across the Group.
Knowledge, skills and experience
Strong data analysis, numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources
Experience in a marketing role is preferable- ideally within professional services, publishing or business information
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Knowledge of the healthcare sector would be an advantage
Experience of delivering regular and relevant reporting programmes to business colleagues
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
Strong time management and organisation skills
Constant focus on attention to detail
Able to represent BMJ Group at internal and external meetings with a professional approach, credibility and clear communication
