The BMJ is looking for an experienced news reporter with excellent contacts in the NHS to become part of its award winning news team
A graduate with at least three year’s experience of news reporting, he or she will be a self-starter with the ability to write illuminating copy against the tightest deadlines and the tenacity to dig up agenda-setting exclusives.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and understanding of the NHS, and some insight into the organisation and concepts of medicine and research. Ideally he or she will have experience of making Freedom of Information requests and be confident interviewing senior doctors and politicians.
The job is based at the BMJ headquarters in central London. A competitive salary and benefits await the right candidate.
