Sales Manager- South East Asia
A new opportunity is available for an experienced Sales Manager to take responsibility for growing the business in South East Asia. The focus is to develop, implement and manage local sales plans to fit into an ambitious and challenging strategic plan to maximise sales of the Group’s journal collection and knowledge products – (Clinical Evidence, Best Practice and Learning) - to all of SOUTH EAST ASIA (incl. Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia) and across all customer types – medical schools, hospitals, corporate, government and ministry funded bodies, big employers, health plans and privately funded healthcare organisations.
In addition the right candidate will select a limited number of agents to represent BMJ Group in relevant APAC territories and ensure that select agent agreements are in place and adhered to. The individual will need to transition the BMJ institutional business so that all business goes through those agents with which we have agent agreements in place with.
You will need to have a minimum of five years account sales experience with a proven record of achieving revenue targets and a good knowledge of the target market. You will report to the head of Journals sales.
