BMJ Evidence Centre is looking for a Digital Content Editing Manager.
With a strong background in hands-on editing of complex information or reference content you will work across our full range of products, including Clinical Evidence, Best Health, Best Practice, and BMJ Point of Care, as well as new products in development. As manager of a team of internal and freelance copy editors, you’ll need to juggle ever-changing demands and priorities while ensuring our published content is clear and consistent. High standards and continuous improvement will be your guiding principles.
Strong people management skills are essential as we will look to you to lead, inspire, and develop your team. You should have an understanding of digital content technologies, familiarity with XML, and an active interest in publishing. Qualified to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in a science or medical subject, you'll also need a commercial outlook to balance quality with business constraints.
