Pricing and Site Licensing
All institutional subscribers require a site license. The type of license depends on the type of site: single or multiple. You can find site definitions below, but if you are still unsure or would like further information, email the Sales Team who will be happy to assist you.

Single site license
A single site constitutes one institution or organisation within one geographic location (academic or non-academic) that is under a single administration.
A single site license provides authorised users at one institutional site with online access to subscribed journals within the BMJ Journals Online Collection. Authorised users include full and part-time employees, staff, independent contractors and students officially affiliated with the institution at the authorised site and persons with legal access to the library using valid IP addresses. Single site license users are able to download, print and save articles for personal use. It also allows the inclusion of material in course packs and inter-library loan.

If you would like further information or are unsure of your institution type, email the Sales Team who will be happy to assist you.
Multi site license
Consortia and institutions with multiple sites also require a multi site license. Multi sites include organisations located in more than one city or which have multiple locations in the same city administered independently.
We can offer custom pricing to consortia groups and multi site institutions for subscribers to selected BMJ Group products.
