FrontDesk

FrontDesk is the most popular third party appointments system for primary care in the UK and has been in use by a large number of practices since 1992. FrontDesk is running over 600 sites’ appointment books and well over 4 million patients are able to check themselves in on touchscreens using our Patient Check-In module. Appointment Book

Most activity takes place in the Appointment Book. Here the "book" can be viewed and appointments made or cancelled. As is common throughout the system, all actions can be initiated from a menu option, a toolbar icon, a keyboard shortcut or by pressing or clicking a function key.

Book Management

Before appointments can be made, the "book" must be prepared to specify the surgeries and available appointments that all clinicians will be offering. FrontDesk provides a range of powerful and flexible facilities making this a natural activity that lets you manage the book easily and quickly. Other appointment packages copy a limited number of the features that FrontDesk pioneered but none provide the flexibility and power offered by FrontDesk.

Reports

FrontDesk provides a full and complete range of reports that allow complete control and audit of appointment activity. Custom reports can be defined and run automatically according to very flexible schedules. A total of 22 basic reports are provided. All reports can be previewed on screen, printed on any kind of printer or page size, output as text files, exported as Word or Excel documents, produced as a web page or emailed to a named recipient.
