Patient Check-In

Patient Check-In is a touchscreen-based patient self check-in module. Using desk or wall-mounted touch-sensitive screens, patients can check in without staff involvement. Patients are identified to the system by using practice-definable combinations of date of birth, initials and gender. When the patient completes the simple check-in process the appointment status is changed to confirm their arrival.

A single touchscreen can save 20 hours a week in reception time,
and considerably reduces the waiting time for patients during busy periods. We've recently installed a Touchscreen and have been congratulated on the 'new receptionist' ........ very user-friendly and needs no input from ourselves.

Patient Call

FrontDesk's interface with patient call display boards allows patients to be called into the consulting room with a single key-press or mouse-click without the clinician needing to leave his/her desk, and also without any action being required by the reception staff. In addition to that, patient information messages can be fully configurably defined by the practice to be displayed in between patient calls.

We went straight to FrontDesk from a paper system!! Well worth the long wait - everyone loves it. We went the whole hog and have a Jayex patient call display - very well received by patients and staff. Stress levels have dropped appreciably.

Appointments On Call

Voice Connect's Patient Partner system allows patients to book, re-arrange or cancel their appointments from the comfort of their own home using a touchtone telephone. FrontDesk's Appointments On Call module interfaces with Patient Partner via slots which the practice designate as being available for telephone booking. Patients can book appointments with the clinician of their choice without the practice staff needing to be involved at all.

Appointments Online

Appointments Online allows patients to book or cancel appointments and order repeat prescriptions via the web.

Appointment Reminders

Appointment Reminders is an SMS messaging system that allows text messages to be sent to patients to confirm an appointment that they've just made, and also to remind them of it near the time. This will reduce the number of patients who miss appointments as a result of having forgotten about them, as well as prompting them to rearrange an appointment that they can't now make, rather than just not turning up.
