About the Editor
Adrian White is Clinical Research Fellow in primary care research at the Peninsula Medical School, Universities of Exeter and Plymouth. He gained a licentiate in traditional acupuncture at the British Acupuncture College in 1980, and subsequently studied Western medical acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society. He has undertaken a number of studies on the safety and effectiveness of acupuncture including clinical trials and systematic reviews. His major areas of interest include tension type headache, smoking cessation and musculoskeletal pain particularly osteoarthritis of the knee.
